Selling on BidX, from start to finish
Selling on BidX follows a clear path: you register as a seller, BidX Admin approves you, you add a product, BidX Admin reviews it, and buyers who find it contact you directly.
1. Start with a BidX account
Every seller is first a BidX user. If you already use BidX to buy, you sell with the same account — there is nothing new to create. Sign in, then tap Sell in the bottom navigation, Start Selling in the menu, or Start Selling in the “Sell on BidX” section of the home screen.
2. Register as a Seller
Everyone who sells on BidX registers as a Seller. Registration is free, and your first product listing is free after approval. To keep adding products, choose the Monthly (₦1,500, 30 days) or Annual (₦15,000, 365 days) subscription. See the Seller plans at a glance.
3. Provide your seller information and wait for approval
The seller form asks for your seller or shop name, phone and WhatsApp numbers, and your State and LGA. You can add your current location for “Sellers Near Me” and, optionally, your bank details. BidX Admin reviews your registration; until you are approved, the Add Product button reads “Add Product (After Approval)”.
4. Choose a plan when required
Sellers list their first product free. To add more products, choose the Monthly (₦1,500, valid for 30 days) or Annual (₦15,000, valid for 365 days) subscription. Payments are made securely through Paystack.
5. Add your product and submit it for review
Use Add Product to enter the product name, price, category, product details, location, description and one to five images. Tap Submit Product for Review. Your product shows “Pending Review” until BidX Admin approves it. Weekly new-listing allowances apply to seller accounts.
6. Respond to buyers and manage your listings
Once approved, your product is available on the Marketplace. Buyers contact you by WhatsApp, phone or BidX Messages and you agree the transaction directly with them. Use My Listing to see your products, edit them and mark them as sold out.
