The principles behind every BidX transaction
BidX connects buyers and sellers who agree transactions directly with each other. Because BidX does not receive or hold the payment for an item, both sides share responsibility for a fair, safe transaction.
Provide accurate product information
Sellers should describe each item honestly — its real condition, features, what is included and any faults. Images should show the actual item. Listings are reviewed by BidX Admin, but the seller is responsible for the accuracy of what they publish.
Use accurate prices
Enter the price you actually intend to accept and choose the right price type: Fixed, Negotiable or Auction / Bid. Avoid misleading prices designed only to attract attention.
Communicate clearly
Answer questions honestly, respond within a reasonable time and keep a written record of what was agreed where possible — BidX Messages and WhatsApp both keep a history of the conversation.
Verify transaction details
Before any money changes hands, confirm the item, its condition, the final price, the payment method and the delivery or collection arrangement. Check the seller’s contact information and location, and be cautious of requests that do not match the listing.
Follow applicable laws
Only list and buy items you are legally permitted to sell or buy, and comply with the laws that apply to you and your transaction. Read the Marketplace Terms and Conditions (Menu → Help & Information).
Treat buyers and sellers respectfully
Be courteous in every message and call. Respect people’s time, honour what you agree, and let the other party know promptly if your plans change.
