The complete Marketplace journey — from your very first visit to a finished transaction between a buyer and a seller.

Follow the line from top to bottom. Buyers can go straight from exploring to discovering a product; sellers pass through approval and listing review first.
New user
Visits BidX in the browser or opens the Android app.
Create account
Sign Up with Google, email or phone number.
Explore Marketplace
Search, browse categories, choose State & LGA or tap Near Me.
Buyer or seller?
Every account can buy. Selling is an extra step you can take any time.
Buy
Jump ahead to “Buyer discovers product”.
Become a seller
Register from Start Selling.
Seller approval
BidX Admin reviews the seller registration.
Subscription where required
First Seller product is free; then Monthly (30 days) or Annual (365 days).
List product
Add Product: details, price, location, description and 1–5 images.
Product review
Status shows “Pending Review” while BidX Admin checks the listing.
Product available
Approved products appear in search, categories and recommendations.
Buyer discovers product
Nearest matching items are shown first.
Buyer contacts seller
WhatsApp Seller, Call Seller or Message Seller.
Transaction
Buyer and seller agree on payment and delivery or meetup directly. BidX does not receive payment for the item.

Create an account
Choose Google, email or phone number. Email sign-ups may need to confirm their email address before signing in.

Search matches product names, descriptions, categories, brands and seller or store names — nearest results first.
Search guideBecome a seller
Submit the free seller application with your seller details.
Seller guideSeller approval
BidX Admin reviews your registration. Until then, the Add Product button reads “Add Product (After Approval)”.
Approval guideSubscription
Sellers: first product free, then Monthly ₦1,500 (30 days) or Annual ₦15,000 (365 days).
Subscription guideList & review
Submit a product for review, then follow its status from Pending Review to approved in My Listing.
Listing guideDiscovery
Approved products appear in the Marketplace, in search results and in “Recommended for you”.

Buyers reach sellers on WhatsApp, by phone or through BidX Messages to ask questions.

Confirm the details, agree the arrangement and stay safe when meeting someone you do not know.
Responsible useFrom “Pending Review” to a buyer’s message
When a seller taps Submit Product for Review, BidX confirms “Product Submitted Successfully” and the listing’s status becomes Pending Review. The product is not visible to buyers yet.
BidX Admin then reviews the listing. When it is approved, it becomes part of the Marketplace: it can appear in search results, in its category, for buyers in the same area, and in “Recommended for you”.
Interested buyers contact the seller directly. When the item has been sold, the seller opens My Listing and taps Mark as Sold Out. The listing stays visible with a “SOLD OUT” badge so buyers know it is no longer available.
Clear responsibilities on every side
The buyer
Searches, reviews product and seller details, asks questions, confirms the transaction details and agrees the arrangement with the seller.
The seller
Provides accurate seller and product information, keeps listings current, responds to buyers and marks items sold out when they are gone.
BidX Admin
Reviews seller registrations and product listings and provides support through Help & Support and Live Chat.
